Floor Construction
Joists 200 x 50mm separated at 400mm centres with 20 mm thermal felt board insulation and vapour barrier. Finished floor is hard-wearing 15mm tongue and groove water resistant ply sheet ready for ceramic floor tiling or tongue and groove pine boarding planks.
Roof construction
The roof design is a multi layered construction with 500mm perimeter overhang to provide substantial weather protection for the cabin.
Interlocking vertical pine boards 30 x 145mm covered with plastic vapour barrier. 50 x 50mm horizontal battens separating 50mm Kingspan foam insulation. Vertical 50 x 50mm vertical batten covered with roofing felt membrane. Horizontal 20 x 100mm roof battens, covered with vertical roof tile profile steel sheets zinc and paint finish protected. Doors
3 off 2.1 x .8m Hard wearing quality pine internal doors and frames are all varnish finished with locking door handles. 1 external door 2.1 x .9m half double glazed of robust construction in pine with double lock set and handles.
Windows
5 off 1.2 x .9m and 1 off 1.2 x .6m High quality 20mm double glazed internal locking windows. All varnish finished with window handles. Removable external window dividing frames for easy window cleaning.
Veranda floor
100 x 25mm treated decking boards supported by 200 x 50mm joists.
Metal components
Metal tensioning rods as required for log cramping adjustment. All nails and screws as required.
External protective stain preservative
25 L Sadolin light oak wood stain.
